Positive Spin is the Fraser Valley’s largest cycling fundraiser event in support of mental health awareness. Positive Spin is a cycling event that brings together the community, showcases our beautiful roads and raises money for the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Cycling is great for your physical health, but it also has numerous positive mental health impacts as well. While some people ride to get fit, there are many who ride bikes simply because it makes them happy. In fact, science suggests that mental health may even be a stronger predictor of life expectancy than physical health, or even heavy smoking.

Positive Spin is about having fun, promoting health and fitness, boosting tourism and supporting the Canadian leader in Mental Health awareness and support, the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Join the Positive Spin ride and you’ll explore the mountains, lakes, rivers and fields along the roadways of the Fraser Valley and Chilliwack. This ride is to promote Mental Health awareness and reduce the stigma associated with it.

Cycling has the power to engage, inspire and bring a community together. Positive Spin will strive to do all of these things while creating a challenging day of cycling and bringing awareness to mental health.

Our long-term vision is to create an annual Positive Spin. We want to promote cycling, provide a challenge, and showcase the mental health benefits associated to the sport. We want to celebrate cycling with an unforgettable ride. We want to educate by showing people the benefits of cycling and taking the stigma out of mental health issues.

We will connect people over a challenging and beautiful cycling route.

Welcome to Positive Spin!
